Frequently Asked Questions
What is it like at a Grow & Gather retreat?
The energy at our retreats is magical. We are so honored to be surrounded by amazing women who come together in the spirit of connection, revitalization, and community. Our retreats bring women together in a sacred container where everything is provided. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed with open arms.
From our signature Self Love Photoshoot to crafts to guided women’s circles, our itineraries are designed to create a unique and nurturing experience. See more about what it is like at our retreats by watching our video here: Grow and Gather Retreat Video
Do I need to be good at yoga to attend?
No! While we offer yoga as part of our movement component to support the wellness of the body, there is no required experience necessary. All yoga levels are welcomed at our retreats and as always, all activities are optional.
Can you tell me about the food?
The food at our retreats is one of the best parts! Our participants constantly tell us how nice it is to have someone else cook all of their meals for them. And the food is DELICIOUS. We offer a plant based menu and can honor all dietary restrictions. Even if you are a meat-eater, you will revel in the exquisite food we serve. We are proud to partner with incredible chefs to make sure the food is one of your favorite parts of the experience.
Where will I sleep?
We offer a variety of rooming options from private accommodations and semi-private rooms. We recommend booking early if you desire a particular type of accommodation!
How many people will be there?
Our events offer an intimate experience to support building genuine connection between individuals. Our retreats generally have 8-15 participants attend.
Do these retreats sell out?
We have sold out every retreat we have hosted! We would love to connect with you about attending a retreat and encourage you to book early.
Are the wellness retreats for moms?
While a lot of our participants are moms, not all are! Our retreat is open to all women and femme identified people.
Is this a religious retreat?
This is not a religious retreat. We do explore aspects of spirituality such as connecting to mother nature, but do not promote any religious ideology. We respect the beliefs of each individual who attends.
What kind of activities are at the retreat?
We offer a variety of activities intended to promote wellness and hold space for you. From sound baths to guided women’s circles, each activity is thoughtfully planned to help you feel nurtured. We also do a great job of balancing activity and free time, so your days will not feel rushed! See past retreats for an example.
What if I don't know anyone there?
This is the space for you! You will be welcomed to our group with open arms. Many women have come to our retreats not knowing anyone else and left with lifelong friends. One of the amazing aspects of a retreat is the intimate nature it provides to get to connect deeply with others.
What should I bring to the retreat?
A few weeks before your retreat we will send out an itemized list of recommended items to bring! We provide most things you need for the weekend outside of personal belongings.
